Air Bag Control Module
Once again I need counsel from the Audi nation.
The Air Bag Light Came on in my 98 A8. The local dealership wants over $1300 to change out the Air Bag Control Module the part cost is about $1200.
I am not going to pay this for a car that is at best worth $5,000 especially when the actual electronics in the part are probably worth about $20.
Can anyone recommend a resource to find this part for less ?
My neighbor had a similar situation with his Saab and rather than a $1500 Control Module he was able to find a rebuilt unit for about $100 that works fine.
Any advice is much appreciated.
