I'm getting ready to install an RNS-E radio that I bought on my '01 S8 and I'm going through all the postings that I bookmarked but I can't find one that I thought I had of the complete step-by-step that PaulW did for his '01 S8. Am I dreaming or just not finding it. I went to the D2 FAQ but all the links I followed for the idiots guide just led to the home page on the nav forum.

Just follow the instructions on NJSX's website. It all depends on what other components you are putting in.

Thanks Paul. I have all that. I also bookmarked the install done in the euro S8 by I think it was craigyb which I've been looking for on Tyresmoke but my link seems to have disappeared and that forum drives me nuts trying to find anything. I just wanted to make sure there's not some difference between the A6 and A8/S8 that I'm missing.

Thanks again for all the efforts you've put in to modding your car and documenting it for us you're a tremendous resource.

Do you know if VIM hack allows you to enter an address while moving or not? If not, I'll probable tap the speed wire and switch it.
