Anybody with a silver A8/S8 paint the lower panels silver?
I can't decide whether it would look good or cheesy. Will the panels below the doors sand smooth (lumpy finish now)? It looks good on the S4, don't know about an S8.

Saw a silver A8 with body colored body kit ...
The car was heavily modified (18" or 19" wheels, lowered suspension, body kit). The body kit with the painted silver lower panels looked great, but I felt that the other mods were a little too much.

Not looking to add a kit, I mean the stock lower fascia, lower bumper, and the side sills. There is no contrast on a black S8 and it seems to look closer to the ground, that is what I am looking for on my silver S8. Do not want to lower the body, I have a sports car that scrapes the pavement on any incline. I would possibly add side sills to facilitate painting. Anybody with a link or picture?
