I am thinking of getting one for my bikes. A good friend has the system on his E430 and loves it. I already have the King Cobra bike rack (for his car) so all I have to buy is the basic system which retails for $230. Anyone have this unit? Thanks

for the A8 fit the gutterless door jambs very well. Just be sure you put them under the rubber door seal lips. My only complaint is the increase in wind noise you get with the rack on the car, but I'm sure that is the same for all racks. I can put the rack on the car in less than 5 minutes, so it is very easy, and the soft silicone feet have never scratched the paint (as long as the paint is clean). The cobra bike rack is OK but I prefer the viper version (holds the bike more securely, but you have to put the front wheel somewhere. The ski racks work very well, too.
