I think tan only came on 03s w/ black exterior. Other years had the off white ecru/light beige FYI

They came in a few others years and color combos, Tozo has an 02 silver S8 he parted out that had the tan seats.
But you are right, much less popular then black.

Let me know if you guys have anything out there.

Tozos parts car was light gray in the interior. If you have seen a black on tan 2003 S8, you will get an idea of the tan I speak of.

Someone here was selling an 01 Maroon S8, and it also did not have a tan interior. It works on A8s, but the S8 recaros were limited in color. I have the brochures for the S8s. I will look it up.

Your right. I didn't look at the pictures carefully enough. But it is grey.
Well i guess this just makes my search that much tougher.

Black w/ caramel would be the shizzle. I love the rich brown hides.
