Default I have, yes .. but in a Hyundai with my wife, like 17 years ago.

If this is an Event where the road is cleared, then you'll be a lot happier than I was. Gawd damn slowbies ruining the fun for me every few FEET.

I lived in NC for seven years and we loved that part of the State. We were around there very often.

I urgently suggest you hit Asheville, and either stay at or just dine at the GrovePark Inn.

Also, the mind-blowing Biltmore Estate is right there in Asheville. At 175,000 square feet, the largest private home in the United States and one of the most incredible remaining examples of the Gilded Age.

Default Weird: I just posted this verysamethought on a P forum planning a June gtg there - time...

...to pop me Dragon cherry, it's been on the 'to do' list for too long. What's not to like?

<img src="http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v2176/243/102/1210417400/n1210417400_30318663_8865.jpg">

Mikee Platt who used to be here with //S8 ran it once on Duc once in Elise w/ his son. Glowing reviews (obviously), esp. for the gamerz.

Report back!

Again, bizarre we both post this within hours...

Default I've only ridden the tail on my RC51 and it was cool. Stayed at the motel there and enjoyed the full

experience. As we all now, lots of curves and also lots of Law Enforcement on weekends. Have fun.

Default Search on Deal's Gap and/or check out i-bmw.com or other biker sites.

That said, holler and I may hook up with you. The wifey will be either pissed or gettin' real nervous ;-)

Default I've been there...

We took the wifey's brand new '07 Volvo S60R (only 2,000 miles) out there for a few days. Hit up the tourist area and Dollywood too. Nice/beautiful ride out there. We went there in the middle of Oct, it was a bit cool but the cool thing is that there was almost nobody there. Just a few Porsches ripping it up ..... oh, and NO COPS at all!

Make sure to visit the "tree of shame" to show respects. Also, nice views at the dam at the end of the dragon. Be careful out there, no guardrails and no cell service for miles (20+).

Before the Dragon at "the park"

on the dragon. Note the navi screen (sorry, blurry pic - going too fast)
