Introduced at the Detroit Auto Show in January, the 12 cylinder Audi A8 6.0 is the first production vehicle to utilize LEDs for daytime running lights. I deal with Lumileds all the time, My company is using some of thier product on some other unthought of applications. I wonder if I can convice them to do up a retrofit kit for my S8? hmmmmm

I used 1 Luxeon Star as a taillight in my A6. It was almost bright enough in the day however, i think we would need 4 or 5 of them to get full effectiveness. They are expensive, but for the light per led, you cant beat them.
I am using 5 amber limuleds in my plans for the front blinkers.
