Pretty tempting...
I'm going to be in the UK later this month and thought about bringing one back, but this is almost as cheap and less hassle (no cavity search after luggage screening.)

Pretty much says it's a compatible part...
"This Brand New FUEL PUMP is a replacement for part numbers below"
For what it's worth I put a Bosch made-in-USA pump into my 4runner and it was no good, swapped it with a no-name pump from China or Korea and that one was perfect. I'm not so sure the name brands are all that great anymore.

Re: Pretty much says it's a compatible part...
It's a little different with the A8. The only manufacturer that makes a pump that fits, is Siemens. There are a few cross-references but nothing works. The main point is the second opening at the bottom of the pump which is an outlet that activates the jets to distribute fuel in the D2's weird shaped gas tank.

Quality Control etc
Defective parts will always leave the factory, the question is what is the ratio of the defective to the good ones. And then you will always have the ones that someone had damaged en route to the customer.
If only there was one made in Japan.
