Anyone replaced a fuel pump and had the new part fail soon after? We have had two recently that had defective hoses (at the upper crimp fitting) which looked OK but failed under pressure. It looks like they were crimped too tight which cut trough most of the hose wall and then the hose can't take it's rated pressure. If you have to do a fuel pump change you should consider a re-do the hose with PROPER hose clamps before installing.
