AutoUnion 1939
So, 69 years ago this was it:
(The complete brochure/s linked below.) <img src="http://www.autounion1939.com/img/audi6.jpg"><ul><li><a href="http://www.autounion1939.com/">http://www.autounion1939.com/</a</li></ul> |
Very cool! Thanks for sharing.
Makes me wish I had spent more time in high school German classes actually learning the language...it would be cool to be able to be able to read it all - especially the Audi brochure pages 10 through 15. :)

Re: AutoUnion 1939
Some of those cars look a lot like my 1937 Graham

A sure sign we are entering the "Counter Intuitive Era" (CIE)tm

Good stuff. If you look on image 12 of the "Wanderer 4" set
you can see little tubes on the kingpin and tierod end. I'm pretty sure those are part of a central greasing system, one shot and the grease went several places. A quality touch. Duesenberg, possibly the best American car built in its time, had a similar system. They cared about serviceability in those days. But cars needed a lot of service.
