Default Battery
A follow up on the battery for my 2001 Audi A8L. The service manager quoted me the wrong price, it ended up being $126.00 installed after my 10% discount for being an Audi club member. As a matter of fact he took 10% off the entire bill including labor. So he did not rip me off and it is an Audi battery, I checked it.

Default Thanks. For $126 at a dealer, why would one fool around with an after market battery to save a coupl
couple of dollars??

It comes with a 5 year warranty and free replacement if it fails in the first year, has over 660 CCA and it is made by Varda for Audi.

Those are probably DIN CCA, I thought the original was over 800 SAE CCA

Default Just my opinion, but I'd go with an Interstate...same price, better warranty.
...and 850 CCA.


Plus, 125m RC.

Default Great price. I just bought a DieHard for $120 (3 yr full replacement; 96 mos limited)
And a lot of CCAs - cant recall, but ~800
