Default Belly Pan

I lost my Belly pan over the weekend on my 1998 A8. It was damaged enought that I have concerns putting it back on the car. Is there anywhere you can get one besides the stealer. They want about $275 for the part. Thanks in advance for your help.

Not sure it came off when driving. I believe that the fastners on one side near the passanger wheel well came lose and the whelll pulled it off. It is now damaged on the passanger side and I am concerned that the remaining fastners will not hold it on.

Default Tie wraps will probably hold it.

Just cut them off and replace them when you need to get under there for servicing.

Default Replacement fasteners are not expensive

even from the stealer. I bought a bunch of them so now I have a couple of spares.

I see that blauparts.com sells a kit of hardware. I think ecstuning does too.

Or are you saying that the fastener holes in the old pan are destroyed and unusable? In which case, I second the advice for zip ties.

I doubt that you'll find a used pan in a boneyard - according to the dealership, they actually stock the belly pan because it gets lost so frequently.

The old pan is broken on the passengers side. The part that clips into the wheel well is gone. I should be able to put 8 of the 10 fastners. Is it worth getting the fastener kit or will there be a lot of wind noise?

Default Nope. Never noticed it until Paul pointed it out to me.

Makes for easy maintence but I suppose it's nice to have in the winter to keep out the snow and salt.
