Default You might want to check this

part number against the audipages parts list: 4D0505465D. If this is what you're talking about, they're $76.03 ea. at genuineaudiparts.com (OEM parts btw).

Default Re: Question:

im not exactly sure how it happend...but i can say that in the last week before i noticed the problem i had a few extended flirting sessions on 95 with a Maserati and a Ferrari...im guessing the triple digit rides for periods of over an hour probably just put excess stress on the endlink at one point or another. I also had my summer wheels on which are oversized and a bit heavier then stock which was most likely a factor. And lastly the car does have 115k on it...

and let me tell you at speed the back end feels very loose now and i am not a fan.

Default Re: Question:

One thing for sure D2s do not feel loose, not even at triple digit speeds.

Default Er, that pretty much sums up the last 40k in mine now @ 125k - no breaky for me. How...

...heavy are your summer wheels???

These cars are engineered for a LIFE of exactly your "flirting session" and that's exactly what my car gets day in day out - I'm doubting that's a factor whatsoever. Maybe straw that broke camel's back but something else is up.

Least it's a cheap / easy fix 8-).
