Who makes the mounts, I have been thinking about mounting a tablet and your mount looks like it is well built.

It says Deltaco on my tablet holder, but I modify it so I could screw it in the center console.
And mobile holder is a Unversal as I bent a stainless steel plate that I also screwed.

Thanks very much for this information. I have been thinking of doing a stock '03 RS6 swap into my '01 S8. Have been for a couple years. This is helpful in understanding the details. I would love to see pictures of how everything is fit up. I'd hate to loose the AC. I'd leave the auto tranny as well. Can you say if this swap is possible with an auto tranny 5HP24A ? Thanks again !

RS6 engine with RS6 auto tranny will fit, but you need rs6 ecu + cable loom for the rs6 auto tranny.
And then you have the problem that rs6 have Can-bus so I don't know if the rs6 auto tranny will work perfect when it not can speak to ABS, Clima and Instrument cluster thru the Can-bus system.
You have problem to fit the intercoolers if you don't want to move the AC parts.
But I will try to fit back the AC on my car but with custom built ac tubes and fit the parts where I have room for them and not on the oem place.

Thank you for sharing the info, videos and pics of your car. Very cool swap. Looks to be quite the project to have completed. I looked at RS6's before getting my '01 S8 and thought what it would be like to have that engine set up in the S8... Now I know! Might attempt to do something similar later on down the road.
