Calling DanMcBoost: What epoxy did you use on your brake calipers?
I like the glossy look of your calipers. I painted mine red last year with high temp engine paint but it seem to be very dull and collect a lot of dust. Where did you get your paint? Is it high temp? And do they have other colors besides black.
Thanks,

There are a few brands that work. Back in 1992ish I started using Folia Tec, a german company, and
..... had my cousin import it for around $20.00 USD. Since it was $50 for the kit here this was a bargin. That has been on my 85 supra, since then, and 5 years ago I put it on my 87turbo. Neither has shown any change, and looks like the day I put it on. The folia tec is an epoxy, and seems to be a PITA compared to the new stuff out there. I used more of the folia tec on my A8, as I had an extra box that was for set aside for engine parts. My cousin is no longer in Germany, he is state side as of 6 months ago. So no more APO
His jetta is the one listed on my site, in my friends section. A very custom jetta, with many german parts in case anyone is interested.
I have had friends use the duplicolor ceramic paint which can be found at any pep boys or auto zone with great results. For $15 its a bargin. Not an epoxy, but good to 500°, goes on fast, and dries quickly. Next car gets that.

Thanks that is what I picked up...we will see how it works...
I used high temp engine paint last year. Worked great but it got too dirty, seemed to attract the brake dust. I will try this. I think the epoxy would resist dirt and dust better, that is why I asked. Thanks alot.
