Can't open the trunk/battery is dead...how can I jump start from the engine bay?

Default There is a positive terminal by the right front wheel. You can clamp a jumper cable there.

Default But you cannot access it w/o pulling off some covers, right?
Some Audis w/ the battery in the trunk or under the back seat, have a POS terminal easily accessible in the engine bay. It made jump-starting fairly easy. I'm surprised the D2 doesn't have that feature.
