Car going in for tranny fix

Car going in for tranny fix
I have arranged to have a fix for my S8's tranny problem.
I have been recommended by 3 seperate people (2 from the racing world,)to go to Transfix in Barnsley UK.
The guy there apparantly know's these transmissions well and has fitted a few to A8's, as well as range Rovers and BMW's. He is going to have a drive of my car next week, confirm what is needed and then do the job for me. It will take a week for me to get the car back.
He can also 'strenghten' the weak parts of the box, by fitting special parts that he says come in from the States (More info when I find out more)
I will let everyone know of how it turns out.
Lets hope he is as good as he sounds.
