to add non-factory settings such as one touch remote unlock, one touch remote windows and roof. The reason I ask is I'm planning on doing this and wanted to see if there are any hidden concerns.

I have: no horn, auto lock/unlock, 1 touch unlock. Thinking about adding window up/down feature, too.

Hi, im in the UK and obviously have a "euro" spec Facelift A8, i was reading the recoding articles and was interested to see if they would work on my car.....

When i logged in with vagcom my initial coding was 13130.

After reading the values for other stuff i added
+32 for auto lock/unlock after 15MPH (thats cool
and because mine is UK spec i already had 1 touch to open all doors + trunk (boot to me) and the value of that is -04, so i added 4 to my coding and made so it is 1 press for drivers door then another for the remaining doors.
I think this is a good idea and many new cars/ models in the UK have this feature as standard. so my codes were

13130 + 32 +04 = 13166 all working sweet!!!
