Chrome dreams...
I wonder if it's possible to add the chrome trim found on the facelift A8 to a pre-facelift 1998 A8?
I don't really see why not. I'm just browsing through ETKA right now and it looks like the part just sticks on (?) or may have some sort of channel/indent that it fits into (and is subsequently glued).
I'm referring to the chrome around the rear bumper, as well as the trim around the headlights.
Thanks!!!

Re: or my 98...
Yep. Looks good.
Any details on what you did to fit the pieces on there?
Have to ask as well - What is your opinion on the LLTek cold air intake? I remember reading once that it would be worthless to put an intake on this car, but I find that hard to believe. I'm not expecting 20HP here, but it would certainly be beneficial if I were to chip my car, no?

I just used a roll of chrome stripping that I found at Advanced Auto...
It came in a roll and has 3M tape on the back. You just need to cut the ends to a round or point and stick it in the grooves on the bumpers. I used the same to do my lower grille. One piece for the "smile" and one for the straight top.
