Sounds (smells?) like you have clogged A/C evaporator drains.
For now, you probably only have stagnant water accumulating in the system, expect to find soggy carpets next. The audipages link is a procedure for clearing the drains.

Unclogging the drains

I'm not sure how long it takes the swamp fungus to die.
Since the A/C normally runs unless ambient temp is below ~5 oC, the fresh water supply every day is probably enough to keep it alive and smelling. Perhaps it'll take an extended cold weather spell, or a few months in econ mode during the Winter, to finally kill it and the smell. I don't think I'm at the point where I'd recommend spraying a fungicide into the air inlet.

Maybe spray some Lysol or other anti-bacterial/Anti Fungal spray....
into the cooling ducts where you remove the orange plugs to blow out the system? Or, how about running the heater on high for a while (with the windows open) and dry out the system- fungi need moisture to survive, and if you dry the system out thoroughly it my kill it.

I had a mouse nest in my stored 911....
...after replacing the chewed side panel and seat belts with new ones, I soaked the whole interior in Febreeze and let it dry in direct sunlight.
It worked very well, and I've only had to re-Febreeze the one area that they actually lived in a couple of times.
Febreeze worked for musty mouse ****, it will probably work on your interior.

I'm new but have lurking for awhile. I have a sideline detail business and can tell you that Einszett, a German company whose products I use, has a product that will take care of the smell which is probably coming from the a/c condenser. Really simple to use, but the dealer will charge you a serious amount of money to fix. Go look at the Einszett North American site and you can probably purchase direct. Their site is www.einszettna.com.
Good luck,
