Default Clunky gear change in stop/start traffic

Hi all
ive had my fantastic A8 for 4 years now. 2 years ago I renewed the transmission oil and filter which smoothed out the annoying jerky gear changing at 110km/hr in cruise control. Lately the gear changing is unbearably clunky in stop start traffic. Can somebody please point me in the right direction to resolve this problem? The forum is huge but I haven’t been able to locate this issue although I’m sure it’s there somewhere? Thanks in advance

Default it's likely your valvebody is worn

A worn valve body is what causes shifting issues

Thanks for that info
The car has only travelled 130000kms so that is disappointing to hear
Im happy to have a go at repairing this problem.
i live in Australia
is there such a thing as an overhaul kit that can be sourced at a reasonable price?
can someone please point me in the right direction for parts. I know the aftermarket franchises don’t have them in Australia
if I have to go genuine parts at an Aussie dealer I’ll be needing a lottery win 😀😀
Thanks
