Common Fuel Line leak location in rear?

Default I typically only see the leaks on the fuel lines in the engine compartment for 1 or 2 seconds

...at least for the first few weeks or months of the leak. It gets worse over time and will be come very obvious.

I'm assuming you have the engine shroud removed to watch all the lines.

Another thing to consider is the EVAP and Leak Detection systems. I don't have my A8 Bentley at work, but I'd look closely at those integrated systems.

Default Fuel leaks

Thanks for all the thoughts on the fuel leak. It is only intermittent and must be pretty small. The only 'spray' we've found is around the high-pressure outlet from the in-tank pump in the fuel tank.

We do have all the vanity covers removed and my wife is no longer driving it... I'll drive it for a couple of weeks and try to track it down.

I'm curious if you found the source for this leak & smell and what you did to remedy it?
