I am trying to get the button illumination to work on a Concert 2 that I have installed on my 95.5 S6 with a Delta headunit. Everything else seems to work fine.

Pin 6 on the black connector in the car is illumination and there is a pin in the same position on the Concert 2, but the buttons dont light up.

Any thoughts on how I can get buttons illuminated? I looked in the tech section write up about soldering a wire to Pin 8, but I am looking for a simpler solution, if possible.

I'm not sure. what I can tell you for sure is that when I replaced my concert 1 with a concert 2 on my 99 A8 (no CAN, just K), the lights were on, but the dimming function was not in harmony with the rest of the console. I sold the concert 2 and simply got the phatbox instead, never looked back.
