Is there different upper rear link arms for different A8's? Example is the euro spec A8 have different ones then American version. I have a 98 A8 just bought a control arm kit and the upper rear link is different and I cant reuse cause I have to torch it off. I will try and post pics of the differences tonight. Thats what I get for trying to save a few bucks and ordering from ebay.

Here are pics of the old one I removed and the one they sent me. Any ideas what this arm is for?? Another version?? Cause all the other arms are the right ones.

Thanks for the info. I'm kinda wondering how this got in their kit since all the other arms were correct. It came with all the arms except the one pictured, end links, tie rod ends, and hardware. I'll be calling them tomorrow kinda curious how its gonna go since they are no longer registered on ebay anymore.

I bought a control arm kit for an audi A4, and all the control arms were the same as the A8, except the one pictured. I would assume the seller sent you the wrong kit.

I just looked up A4 kits and your right it looks like the ebay seller is just selling them as any Audi control arm kit. They have the same pic for the A4 A6 and A8. I just ordered the arms I needed and am still trying to get ahold of them to switch out.
