D2 Fuel pump
#11
It'd take some fiddling to get a different pump working due to the scavenge system. However I think the 360HP S8 uses the same pump so a stock replacement should be adequate for you.
TO make an aftermarket pump work you could tee off the pump outlet and run that through a restrictor and then to the scavenge system. On the unrestricted leg of the tee put in an inline check valve as you've bypassed the check valve in the pump with the tee. I guess you could also put the check valve on the restricted leg.
You'd have to calculate the restrictor size to provide enough flow to the scavenge system without reducing flow to the engine too much or maybe damaging that system due to overpressure. Too much messing around IMO. You'd also have to find a pump that'd fit and work OK in the stock fuel pump assembly, which might not be easy.
