D2 vs D3 - first impressions

FWIW, If there is a chance that you have a clean and straight D2, I'd rather bring it back to life than have a D3 (i did.) In spite of spending months looking for a D2 (clean and straight,) I'd not hesitate and do it again.
I rebuilt all systems and look forward to another number of years, knowing, I'm driving a great piece of transportation.
On the other hand, if the car is beat and you have failed in maintaining it, I understand. pc

The outside of my D2 is probably nine out of 10 very impressive looking for 1999 car inside not too bad but the mechanical issues or annoying and really in my opinion not worth fixing. I’d have to do the timing belt, pull the engine to fix all the oil leaks probably new motor mounts replace all the entire front suspension struts are probably OK rear suspension to maybe the CV joints I have spares for this that’s about it :-) just pay someone 5K who’s already done all that I have seen cars that had stepped onto them had the oriole leak since I got her just annoying not too bad.
