Dashboard fading limp mode
When it is cold the dashboard shows the kilometres and date fine and clear, on hot days digits are fading and going pixelated, and then car changes gears badly and goes into limp mode, any ideas? Why on warm days and not cold?

Mrspock1234, you're dealing with two classic issues but they are not related to each other. First the pixelated dash is not out of the norm and as these models age they all pixelate. A new battery may help with pixelation issue but unless you have the LCD screens replaced, you'll always have the pixelation issue.
The slipping transmission when it's warm is a common sign of a failing transmission. When the transmission fluid is cold, the transmission shifts fine. As the fluid temperature warms, the transmission will start slipping. Causing the car to go in to limp mode.
