ECU defective
Anyone know of an ECU repairer? Understand there are some in the UK but there are none here in Oz. I need my 4DO 907 557A ecu repaired for my 3.7L AEW enigine as it won't adjust basic settings anymore and has "implausible signal" ex G62 (connectivity OK). The ECU from a 4.2 won't work (tried already)

I googled a few terms - no useful results...
Found ECU's for other models only...
I honestly didn't even know that you could get an ECU "repaired". I suppose I was imagining a physically fried part, not some software glitch.

Re: ECU defective
Good luck. I work for an auto parts company and have a direct r and r program w/ a-1 cardone and they had my a8 computer for 3 weeks and cant reprogram it. Limited availability for software they said. Thankfully I got one from a fellow a8er on this forum

Re: Audi didn't make their product list, but still probably worth a call....
If that doesn't work out, maybe some of the tuner folks who change the programming for greater performance. MRC?
