Exterior Temperature Problem
Hi, I have a 2001 2.8 Quattro Sport and I've been getting a -40c reading on the dash for exterior temperature. Correct reading would be about 13c. I put this down to a dodgy sensor, so had it replaced with a 2nd hand one but the problem is the same....
Now it is possible that the 2nd hand one could be dodgy but I would say that is unlikely.
Anyone any idea what the problem may be here?
I head that there could be a 2nd temp sensor up near the bulkhead??

Ok, so after all this isn't totally fixed.
It takes 10 minutes every time I start the car to get the correct temp reading - it starts at -40c and gradually works upwards.
Any idea why this is??
