So a friend of mine has been saying for a while he is thinking of selling his 01 S8 because he never drives it. He might be buying another car soon and I was thinking of making him an offer on the S8.

It only has 10k miles, always maintained, not a single ding or anything on it really is showroom condition.

So I figure that is worth a little premium, and I'd like to make him a fair offer.

What do you guys think I should offer?

10k miles wow. What color? Alcantara, recaros, summer/winter package? Dealers won't value the lo miles, some might pay an extra 5-15k depending on cosmetics and service/fluid history

It's silver with black int. All leather luxury seats, winter package.

He's the original owner, will all the records. I'm willing to pay extra just because I know he took care of it and it still looks as good as it did new. Just not sure what to throw out there.

Talked to him some today, looks like he is going to be selling it in the near future when he gets another car.

I sold my S8 last year, and still kinda regret it. Would love to be able to grab this one if I can. He wasn't sure what is was going to list it at yet. I'm not sure if I should wait to see what he comes up with or just make a fair offer(still not sure what that is yet though)

just match or beat the offer the dealer gives him, plus tax allowance on the trade difference
