Default A Few Day Light Pictures

So what does everybody think of me putting a S8 grill on with the badge? I was thinking of adding the rear one also....

Just pretend it's off topic and tell me what you really think!

In my opinion paul if you want honesty, the grill looks great, but I'm not sure about the S8 badge. I think it would look better without the badge. Also, since you asked, I don't like the way the small bumper grills look. I like the stock black grills better, but that's just me. But the grill looks cool. I have never been a fan of false advertising on a car. An S8 owner would know right away that your car is not an S8. Please don't take offense. Thanks so much for all you have done in the past to make our cars the best they can be. I really think you are going to get to the bottom of this tranny issue very soon.

Paul,
Grill looks awesome. S8 badge.. that is the same idea of having debadge and putting S8 in the rear even the car is not S8. I wouldn't put it and take off the S8, but that's just me. I have seen so many BMW or Mercedes owners going around and putting M badges or AMG badges on their car even there is remotely modified M or AMG parts on the car.
Lower grill cover... Classic black looks much classier than that. It looks like temporary solution to lost grill cover and does not fit(?) to the classic looks of A8.
This is just my brutally honest opinion since you have asked.
I love the corner light, mirror cover!

Default 97 of the Year Award

I noticed your car is parked neatly in the back of the lot. Congrats on keeping your 97 as good as one can look. You have done an amazing job with the wheels, mirrors, grille, and painted calipers.

Default I like it. Subtle yet ominous.

Keeping in line with the "stealth" nature of the A8 - the S8 badge & grill wisper this is not your average saloon.

The lower grills work with the chrome door mirrors and lower grill surround. Chrome on a car is like makeup on a woman - there is a fine line between too much and WAY too much! :-)

Taste is subjective - so as we say - If you like it that's all that matters. But I do like it also.

Default I've got most of them

Need the engine and shorter gears.....but I think I have almost everything else including the soon to have Recaro's!

So I have:

UrS8 alluminum mirror caps
S8 instrument cluster
S8 grill
Upgraded brakes over the UrS8 dual piston brakes
Suspension (which is H&R)
Recaro sport seats (soon to arrive)
Nav Plus

Just need the shorter gears and an extra 30 ponies to be a true UrS8.

There was a A8/S8 rear end meatball on ebay.de recently, was tempted to buy it and put it in my garage....when I take the tranny out, just put in a new ring gear in the front and I'll lower my final raios!

Thanks everybody for the comments, no harm taken at all!

I'll do what I want to my car and you can't stop me! :-)

The lower grills look much better in person, it's hard for a camera to catch them right
