A Few RNS-E Pictures

I will definitely consider the factory bluetooth, the later Symp II and XM is optional.....
With my Phatbox loaded up from a rather extensive music collection, I don't think I'd use XM/Sirius very much. I don't listen to talk radio or Howard, so music is the only real attraction that satellite radio has for me.

I thought you preferred the aftermarket BT over OEM. Have you changed your story again???
It's getting hard to keep track of your position on this topic.....
Yaaaaaaaaaaaawnnnnn

I will get my CANUSB cable later this week
Then let the logging begin. I hope it's some simple command at the begining of a string....what I do get on the RNS-E for a fault code:
0317 Control Module in Instrument Cluster (J285), 008 Implausible Signal
It turns it to Nav mode, then nothing else.....maybe we can figure it out. I think it will take at least a month to get all the required data before a fix can be engineered.

Here
On the RNS you will need the third number from the last to be 6.....so:
0XXX6XX for RNS-E
For the telephone module, I did not have the 1 in it......had a 0 on the digit 5 from the end.
I think I have:
0010777
The third 0 is for No multi function steering wheel. For MFSW:
0011877
0XXX6XX for RNS-E

No bluetooth puck in my car, all through the RNS-E and factory bluetooth module
TeddyBGame made me a wonderful wiring harness that I take the existing 25 pin phone connector in the trunk (that has the card plugged into right now) and plug it into his female 25 pin connector.
He then adds a factory connector for the factory bluetooth module (black one in foreground) and I just plugged the bluetooth module into it.
Hard work, I know.
