G'day guys,

Pulled my left hand front headlight out last weekend to replace the igniter for the HID, which had failed.
Anyone familiar with these lights will know the igniter is mounted quite awkwardly inside the headlight unit with it's screws facing the lens. And it requires removal of the lens to gain access to the screws from the front.
(there's a big write up that describes disassembly of the whole light unit - not necessary, removal of the lens is sufficient and I got access under the reflector with a long 1/4 drive extension with a T17 torx socket on the end)

Anyway, in my musings within the light unit, I happened to knock the little lever in the back end of the projector lens assembly, which moves a small flap in an arc from left to right, obviously altering the light pattern.

Does anyone know the correct position for this flap on a right hand drive car (Left hand headlight, right hand drive) - presumably it alters the pattern between left and right...
