The FM signal has gone out on my 2002 S8, and the dealer thinks its the signal amplifier board installed under the headliner in the rear. I'm concerned about the cost and more important, ripping into the Alcantara headliner. Has anyone seen this before?
I'm also considering the Phat Noise system that many have posted about. Does it have an FM tuner? What about the 6 CD in-dash changer? I'd rather spend the money on an upgrade if possible, and the Phat Noises seem reasonable. Thanks in advance for the help- this forum rocks!

Phatnoise is really great. Installed it in my 2001 A8. TIP: You can find it a lot cheaper on Ebay. If you want I can sent you the coördinates of an American dealer who sells it under 200$
