I am about to start my 'Frankenfridge' project where I plan to take the small Vector(Rubbermaid) cooler and cut it up to combine with the largest Vector (Rubbermaid)cooler. The large cooler will get a third of it's volume chopped off in the process but still be twice as large in volume as the small one would be.

What brand and size has been installed by the rest of you? Any words of wisdom before I begin? And has the thermocoupler type "fridge" proven to be adequate in actual use? the new W12 A8s use a real refridgeration system type fridge but I don't want to pay the $1500 from Audi.
