front shuddering on braking...
Did a Search but couldn't find the thread where the majority of listers attributed braking- associated shuddering to which of the front control rods(not my rotors)? Which of the upper 2 or lower control arm units seems the most likely culprit to first address. Car has had 94K miles in the Sunny South so control arm bushing hopefully not an issue...they look good visibly.

Re: front shuddering on braking...
I had a shudder or pulsing from front when braking and checked rotors-these were within spec but had all four of them machined anyway for $180nzd problem solved!!

Re: front shuddering on braking...
I should have added that I replaced all 4 rotors and pads in an attempt to solve the problem. The old rotors, like yours, had a run-out within spec. The shudder is on light brake pedal application from greater than 30-40 MPH and reminds me of the problem I solved on a 750il by changing the "thrust arms".
I must admit the shudder became more subtle with the disc/pad change but still there to me who is attuned to feeling for it. The only control arm that seems to have any play with the car jacked up is the passenger side upper straight(fore) arm.
The struts are pretty soft/worn with still solid(apparent?) strut bushings...could the strutsstrut bushings be the source ??
Thanks for the feedback,
Craig
