I was thankful that the damage was very limited....
Had it been an elk or something like that, it could have easily mashed the entire front end and wacking the timing belt wouldn't be out of the question if the hit was bad enough.
Yeah, I gotta get on that Phatnoise. It does look easy. I guess my biggest problem is that all my MP3s are iTunes ready and I guess I need some sort of AAC plug-in for the Phatnoise to be able to read them.....true?

Thanks Paul, but you should do the tail lights....
When I say "Look-Red/Blink-Orange", I mean it. Unless you are signaling, they look very red. You can tell that they are different than the orignal units, but they are most certainly red. FWIW, I bought them BRAND NEW from genuineaudiparts.com for $72/ea (iirc). ETKA says that the bulb holder is diffeent, so I ordered them....they are NOT! You do not need them!
Thanks for the compliments Paul! As I mentioned, I don't know how you do it with 3 kids....just insane!

Yeah, I would have taken and Irish or Racing Green car...
...but they just didn't come up. Happier with the red anyway.
Thank you very much for the compliments! We are very happy owners!

I sold all 5 for $800+shipping, but they were far from perfect.
Lots of tire kickers and people who wanted them if they had the money. You know how that goes. It covered my costs to buy 17" wheels and tires for the winter, so I was happy.
I was pretty amazed at the $6k figure actually. Seemed high, but then again, I have never owned a car of this caliber.

Thanks! We tired to keep the V8 as well....
but in the end, it was way to nice for me to commute with, so it was just going to sit as well and that made no sense either. It found a good home though.

Awesome story!
Patience pays off for sure.
Love the burgundy color and the alcantara.
Bought myself a 69 911e like this one as a graduation gift to myself in '76. Man I loved waxing that thing. Brakes were incredible! Didn't see the "man" chasing me one time until he was right on me. I hit the brakes and he was so shook up from almost slamming into me, he let me go. <img src="http://www.europeancollectables.com/ec_reborn/inv_main/Po1821-1.JPG">
