It is very cold in the NYC area so I decided to put the heated seats on. I feel that the steering wheel gets really hot too for about a minute or so and then it goes off. What's the deal? Is that suppose to happen. Please help

Ooops I read an old post where it says that it turns off by itself. I guess it is normal

Yea, that's normal, I believe it has a thermostat in it too, I don't know if it stays warm, but it at least has a cut off switch.
