Default timing marks wont line up

On a different note I cannot get the upper camshaft notch to line up with the arrow the one on the pulley is lined up. The other is always either one side or the other. Does the pully need to come off ie service mode?

Default Small Button Magnet

Glued/tied to a piece of twine?
Then, finding a small button magnet could be a trick.
Ebay?
Good Luck.. pc

I give up on it since the only hole it could have ended up in was a lower one I figured it went back to the oil pan. Thanks for the responding I had a long skinny magnet I tried but got nothing. Where should I post about timing chain rollers on the akb engine? I've seen conflicting information on links between the marks some say not to use the Bently 16 marks but that's the only way my drivers side cams line up. It runs the way it's been since I've bought it two years ago, but I've always gotten codes that made me think the cams weren't right. I have the engine TDC with crank shaft locking pin in and camshaft bar goes on easy. The lower camshaft in each bank is lined up with the marks on the caps but the upper ones, the ones that weren't driven by the belt were both off, a little lower then the cap markings. I messed with the left bank (drivers side) until I ended up with 16 rollers and it lined up perfectly with the marks then I read that the bently on some engines wasn't right and that it should be 15 and 15.5 and not to worry if the marks weren't in but then read some peoples marks were in with 15. They weren't talking about the akb engine though.
