Default Help! My wife's car is possessed!

It's in the 80s and nice and mildly humid here in Indianapolis today. We've been running the A/C quite a bit lately.

As my wife is driving her younger sister home from school she reports that the winshield wipers have been starting up on their own, all the way at max speed, and then will stop again. Also the horn will sometimes blow at random intervals. This just started this afternoon.

Turning off the car and restarting it hasn't helped; the problems will come back, but they evetually went away.

Am thinking water condensed in the steering wiring harness or something? Any other ideas?

If I had to guess, I'd say the switch has come apart. I hope I'm wrong.

Default I think water got in around the ECU.... is this possible....?

She took the car into the car wash earlier in the day...

I don't think I put back all the weatherstripping correctly after I yanked it and the plastic covers out to get access to the bolts for replacing the front struts. Maybe that's what did it? It's been fine since then.

I would go back in and inspect the electronics box compartment for H20
