Dan, how did you fix the door switch for the lights? Your pics are offline.

I took the door latches out and cleaned them with brake cleaner over and over....
....
Then after about an hour they worked. THEN after a month they did not.
I will be installing high quality typical door switches in my car to eliminate this issue forever....

Damn, But wait just a minute. Arent there 2 switches in the doors?
One for interior lights and one for the Alarm?
Does the car alarm go off when you open the door and its armed?

The two switches are exactly the same. There would be no reason to use just one, It will fail too...
.....
It might be possible to tie them together, but I am not sure if that would cause any issues. The alarm might mess with the dome lights fading, or the dome lights fading causing issues with the alarm. There must be a reson for audi to seperate the two circuits.
