Default Hitch Recommendations...

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone in here has an S8. I have a 2015 and would like to install a hitch on it. Any recommendations on the make and model hitch that might work would be appreciated.

Thanks..

If your car is a 2015, then it's a D4 chassis.
You've posted this in the D2 forum.

That being said, the best hitch for your car will definately be the vertical mount Westfalia bar.
Available from Audi, or possibly Westfalia or distributor direct.
Well worth the money, properly engineered for your car, virtually invisible once the swan neck is removed (itself a simple process), and the swan neck should have a position waiting for it in the tool holder under the boot (trunk) floor. All very neat and tidy.
A little pricey, but well worth it and would be in demand used if ever removed.

You'll need the factory wiring harness to disable parking sensors and alter traction and stability control settings. There may be no aftermarket available for it beyond a simple relay box, so your best bet is to stump tp the cash.
