hosed on s8
trading-in 02 s8 loaded with everything but alcantara,21k miles,they give me only $56k.
Are they really that soft? |
When I bought my 03 S8.......
I had my choice of several new 02's for right at $63k. Sounds like I'll be keeping mine for a while based on the kind of numbers you're being offered. Given the first year depreciation, trading a one-year-old car is never a good situation anyway. Why not sell it outright and take less of a hit? Run an Ebay auction, you probably won't sell it through the auction but it's great advertising. People will try to steal your car but I sold my last 4 cars as a result of running an auction. Most recent a 2001 740iL sold it in three weeks and was happy with what I got for it. Only because I bought it right however. At least now you have a number to shoot for. Anything more than the $56k is good for you. Best of luck.

AG is considering not marketing the new S8 in AoA land, FWIW. :)

What a shame that would be!!
1st and last for me? Hope not!

Re: hosed on s8
What did you pay for your S8 new, including taxes etc. out the door?
|
Tax and lic vary by state and county.
|
They're letting in about 150 more RS6s for '03, though. Go figure. :)

Write a letter addressed to Len Hunt. It can be really short, just mention
you are an A8/S8 owner, and would like to see the new one come here.
