Default Yellow/orange and still have it ... sort of.

I gave it to my sister at 125k miles, she drove it for a few years and then gave it to my brother. Don still has it and now two others! One of them will be "refreshed" next year for one of his sons.

The other son just started driving a Fiat 850 that he rebuilt himself, which certainly brings back memories. He gets a lot of wave and honks from "old guys" in their SUV's who must have fond memories also.

I meant "bullet proof" as in dead stone realiable, not literally.

The Saab 900 finally died at 250+k miles because of a rusting frame. Other than PM and wear items like brake pads, filters, bulbs, and belts - at the moment, I can't think of even a minor problem I ever had with that car. It always got 30 mpg, never burned any oil, and still had the original clutch.

One of my sisters is still driving the '89 Range Rover at 200+k miles with pretty much the same experience as with the Saab. The Lucas switches that operate the electric windows have been replaced a few times, and I think I replaced a water pump at some point. One of the reason I got the aluminum bodied Range Rover (and the S8) is because of my experience with rust in previous cars, and I'd crawl under the car once/year and touch up any rust spots on the steel frame with Rustoleum. I replaced the front and rear diffs with ARB air lockers, and that vehicle would go anywhere. I've had it seriously off-road from Vermont to Utah and from Georgia to Canada.
