How to replace the Outside Mirror Switch-HELP
Hi
I think i need to replace the mirror adjustment switch. Earlier posts confirmed fuse is good and switch is in proper location to allow adjustments. Anyway, I have the door panel "mostly off", it is holding on by door handle mechanism, and speaker wire. It looks as if I need to pull the venting to get to the switches. Is this correct, or do I simply need to take the wood trim off from the armrest portion of the door panel? I gently tried the trim stick on the wood piece, but it felt very secure. I rely don't want to pull the panel completely off unless I have to. If anybody could tell me where I need to go from here please jump in. Thanks a bunch!

CLARIFICATION-How to replace the Outside Mirror Switch-HELP
I figured it out. SO for your reading pleasure...The E Bahn/Bentley calls this assembly the Handle Well Upper. It is held in place by 2 phillips screws which are accessed by removing the cover where you grab while closing the door. Once the screws are out, you should be able to twist and push up the whole assembly. My door panel is off the car now, but in hindsight, I do not think you need to pull it to replace any of these switches. I hope my experience will help somebody else out in the future.

Re: There is a procedure on audipages under body that shows you how to do it
Paul, I replaced the switch, but the mirrors still do not operate. The fuses are good, what else could be wrong? Is there a relay that could be bad? if so, please tell me which relay it is.

While we're on the topic, I have an issue as well...
My mirror switch only operates the mirrors in 2 of 4 directions, but when I press the "memory recall" button, for example, my mirrors operate 100% in all 4 directions.
I'm thinking the mirror switch might be at fault. That's the only thing that seems to make sense, seeing as the motors have proven themselves as fully operational.
Thanks
