Is it only official Audi dealerships that can offer Audi assured warranties? Can an Audi dealership take your car and certify it?

How safe is it to buy a car from a pre-owned dealership that isn't certified? I'm looking at a ming blue 2001 A8L with 50k miles for $31 without a warranty...

Why buy their warranty? If you can't do it the way I suggested, and get AA, you should shop 3rd party warranties.

With only 47k Miles Very Very good condition. $29,700 with CPO warranty to 100,000.

My local Audi dealer said no. I think they are just pissed I won't buy their car (a 2000 a8 for 31).

Continental Warranty is a third party. What other companies are out there that are any good? I could get the one they offer for relatively cheap packaged in with the car, versus several thousand from elsewhere. I think, I'm not sure.

They also have a '99 But it has 98k miles on it and their price is 26k-too high IMHO. Good Luck.
