Default Hydraulic fluid flush (thanks audipages!) - some notes...Jim and I just did this and...

1. Although 2 liters is adequate I would suggest having 3 liters on hand. Jim and I both did pretty much a start and kill on the second round and had just enough fluid to top off the reservoir.
2. Draw off as much hydraulic fluid as possible using a turkey baster before draining. This will not decrease the chances of a spill but certainly will decrease the potential magnitude.
3. Remove and clean out the reservoir with brake cleaner as well. It will be as funky as the filter screen.
4. Use a 2 liter soda/seltzer bottle as the "catch can". The restricted neck will prevent oil splashing during the 4 second run.

Other than that very straight foward and the fluid is now *much* cleaner. My butt-o-meter reports an increase of about 10 hp now making Ming Blue the most powerful/fastest. Please update any charts to reflect said improvement.

Default You should see the orange crap they use on the roads up there in Paulooneyland...

it took nearly a year of washes and rain douching to get it out of all the crevices in my //S8. Go visit Paulooney and look at his car. He wears it like a badge of honor he does.
