Default I am going to get my lowers painted next week. Need advice!!!

I will get teh lower part of my car painted but they told me that they would not recommend painting the little rubber part underneath the doors. So it will leave a visible black stripe all teh way down the side. Also shoudl I have them paint the small grill covers in the front or would that look too tacky?

A lot of guys have painted that rubber part successfully. I'd try it with the same flex addative they use for bumpers.

Regarding the grills, I would leave them black. But I think if you could have them filled with plastic to make them look like they were part of the bumper, you would also have a great look - painted sills make the D2 Audis look newer. (See above :-) )

Well mine came out nice...but it gets chipped up pretty easily. I am considering black again.
