I have 3 codes. 591, 592, 1044 incorrect software code.
I have the airbag light on since I swapped the recaro seats. There is a two wire connector under the front seats, but there is no plug on the seat. My old seats had a plug. My software code is 224 currently. My Bentley shows only one occupation sensor on the front (passenger's side). Does anyone have a picture of the bottom of the seat?

Wonder if your airbag controller is not compatable with the seat components??
Can you check the part #s against the car that the seats are from?
occupancy sensor is so the airbag does not trigger if no passenger so no wasted airbag.Stating the obvious I know but!!
Also I think some early seats had no sensor in the front seats at all as I noticed when replacing the seat heater from another cars covers some time ago.
Dont have a pic sorry but the pin outs for all seat variations should be in Bentleys electrical diagrams and should show the variants in specs.
I assume you have cleared the codes and they have returned?

Sorry, don't have the photo you need, but have you seen the 'resistor mod' that
the guys do on some of the older Audis? I think it's a 10 ohm resistor that they wire into the connector to make the ABS control module believe either the seat is occupied or the side airbag is in place...I don't remember which.
