Yup...I was considering a 02 Land Rover Discovery for a second car, now I think more like a civic.

Default Stay away from 99-03 Discos (Series IIs)..

I have a friend who is a Rover tech and he said they have a ton of problems and are much worse than previous years. 12 MPG is pretty crappy too!

Default I'm averaging ~$1.25/gal for premium :-)

My local Giant Eagle food store also sells gasoline, and they give fuel discount credits with food purchases. By the time I drive 700-800 miles, I have enough credits for a free fill-up; i.e., every other tank is "free".

I know ... I'm paying for the gasoline in the price of food, but I'd be shopping at this Giant Eagle whether or not they gave fuel credits.

Default Wow, you sure eat a lot.

I can't ever accumulate more than $0.50/gal in credits.

Or maybe I just don't eat enough lobster ;P

Default Actually, I'm partial to smoked salmon :-)

And it helps that I'm "retired" and don't accumulate miles commuting to work.
